Mission

It is the mission of Fideles Christian School to equip and assist families in the Christian discipleship of their children. As an organization subject to the Lord Jesus Christ, it seeks to participate obediently and effectively in fulfilling His mandate to the Church, as stated in Matthew 28:19-20 (the Great Commission), by helping to build the body of Christ through academic education and related ministries, including especially those family education ministries uniquely necessary for a university structured (UMS) format (Eph. 4:7-13).

By providing educational and participatory activities in the areas of Christian world and life view, life skills, spiritual skills, and vocational skills, Fideles Christian School will endeavor by working in partnership with families, to provide a comprehensive program for the Christian preparation of their children’s life missions as disciples of Christ, in, beyond or apart from higher education.

Fideles Program Vision

Our vision for our educational program is defined by the acronym HEART both in attitude and content. We desire to be an organization known for its love of God and man whose educational program provides the following distinct features:

Honors God: From the Bible we read such verses, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"Gen.1:1, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God" Matt.4:4, "…Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" Col.2:2,3, "without faith it is impossible to please him" (God) Heb 11:6, "faith comes from hearing ,and hearing through the word of Christ" Rom.10:17. These verses and many more testify to the importance of acknowledging God as the author of all things including scholastic subjects and the necessity of having these subjects taught in the light of His Word if they are to have any ultimate value to us. Therefore our program seeks to honor God by acknowledging His preeminence in all subjects, His guidance in all activities, and by regularly calling the students attention to Him in our classes.

Empowers Families: Healthy cohesive families are central to the vitality of churches and societies. However, our modern lifestyle tends to separate us from and diminish the influence that we have in the lives of our children and them in ours. It is our intention that our two/three day per week schedule allow parents to take the leadership role in directing, mentoring, and monitoring their children's education while still benefiting from the knowledge and encouragement of gifted teachers and the classroom experience. It provides a partnership to those who would prefer to home school with assistance. Also, our economical costs makes private Christian education more feasible and within financial reach of more families.

Academically Complete: We believe that all students should be equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills to be able to compete effectively in a demanding world. Therefore, our program has: sought and achieved accreditation through the Georgia Accrediting Commission; and has taken into account as we prepared our curriculum, The State of Georgia college entrance requirements, SAT and ACT requirements, The Georgia Performance Standards, The Association of Christian Schools International and The National Association of University Model Schools curriculum standards, the recommendations of recognized Christian publishers, and the advise of independent consultants.

Renders Guidance: We believe that every student is unique and has a unique mission of service to perform for their heavenly Father. It is our goal and in our program are means to assist and guide them in the discovery and beginning of that mission spiritually, academically and vocationally.

Teaches Self-Discipline: Over the course of life there is ultimately no substitute for the practice of self discipline. Our schedule and program provides the opportunity, accomplishment, and rewards, for the student to learn to take responsibility for the use of their time when they are not in class and to begin to take ownership of their future as they prepare for it.
